In 2016 more than 1,000 people from around the world came together to back Enda Sportswear’s crowdfunding campaign to make the first Kenyan running shoes.
It took them a year to make them. It turns out making great running shoes in a whole new way is hard. But in August 2017, they shipped out the first batch of Itens and they were off and running.
Since then, they’ve been building shoes with no faux-tech gimmicks. Helping you Run Kenyan, while you give a bit back to Kenya. Here are their key focus viewpoints.

But if you train consistently in shoes designed to help you get the most from each workout, then you can see your running improve.

We’re making the first high-performance athletic shoes in Africa. But more than that, we make our products in a way that will have a positive impact on the world, and we constantly give back to communities in need.
